Mining provides stamina, which is okay for PvP, but rather, simply bad overall for a hunter. Skinning provides critical (rating), which is okay overall. It supports leatherworking, so if you pick that, you may keep it. Herbalism provides haste (and negligible heals), which might work as an extra CD. Pick it only if you want double gathering (for money, although herbalism earnings seem to be the worst across the board).
I have been trying so many mods the last couple of days and not even playing, just trying to get a ui config that is clean and easily adjustable without being buggy. I'm using Pitbull 4.0. Move buff bar wow.
Leatherworking is an excellent choice, you get a full agility bonus (bracer enchant I believe), and you can craft gear for yourself. It's pretty handy when a new tier comes out, you can fill up the gaps. Engineering has many perks, if you are able to memorise yet another set of abilities. Alchemy, JC, Blacksmithing, Insription are neutral professions for you.
All of them can provide full agility bonus again, other than that, they offer nothing special. Now I'd drop only mining and get LW instead, level it. You can still gather the leather for it with your skinning.
If you wish to choose engineering/JC later, and have plenty of bank space, you might get out and farm plenty of each material, so that once LW is maxed, you can switch and powerlevel it without many problems. Consult a guide for required materials. 300-525 can be expensive, or tedious to farm, so I'd aim Outland-Northrend-Cataclysm loremastership and just keep an eye for nodes at all time (minimap). There are plenty of nodes out there, but if you focus on farming, you might run out of them quick. Alternative: grab an alt or more, quest on them, mail all materials to the hunter, level the profs. Alternative 2: have plenty of gold and visit AH.:).
I’ve been trying to level Alchemy on my, but it doesn’t feel like I’ve gotten very far. Unlocking most of Legion’s Alchemy recipes requires completing 32 quests, six dungeons, and the Emerald Nightmare raid. I’m now 20 quests in — which is to say that I can almost create something useful — and am beyond exhausted of professions. Why didn’t I pick two gathering professions? Why oh why was I foolish enough to try to craft things?Though I suppose I should be glad I have the chance to craft things I’ll use: my main, a leatherworker, has a 42-quest chain which will let me craft gear fifty ilevels under what I’m wearing. (I’m currently on the final quest, which. And while that is an awesome reward, the quest has thus far proved beyond my ability to accomplish. Stupid Elderhorn and its tendency to leap off waterfalls.)Professions right now feel like a lot of work without a lot of reward.
Best Profession For A Hunter
Even after I finish these quest chains, higher-level recipes will require reputation grinds or lucky drops. At this rate, I might wrap up my Legion professions just before the next expansion drops though it’s far more likely I’ll just give up by then. So, dear readers, how are you feeling about Legion professions? Have you enjoyed the quest-based leveling process? Or are you, like me, a little run down by the leveling grind?
Depends on what you want from your professions. If you are part of a regular raid group, then skinning / leatherworking can be a good choice as you are able to craft better gear (BoP) than what drops from your current tier of raiding, up to 415. However if you are just looking for 340 pieces, they can be bought off of the AH from other leatherworkers.Engineering can provide some interesting utility, but what is available in BfA is mostly crap, so you would need to level content from prior expansions to get the most from the system.Jewelcrafting supposedly sucks at the moment. Not sure of the actual status.Honestly, best bet is dual gathering for making gold so that you can buy gametime tokens and stop spending real money on the game.
Preparing for my professions in Legion, will be quite different to Warlords of Draenor.has written an, regarding the news that a crafting reagent known as the will be Bind on Pickup. Please read it to be fully prepared. To summarise, basically, this item will be gathered from herbalism, mining, skinning, fishing and cooking and some world quests. The Bind on Pick Up issue, means that this reagent will be soulbound. Now while this isn’t different to things like and, this does make a problem on a character on which you have two crafting professions. That character will be limited to obtaining this reagent from fishing, cooking and world quests.
If your main character has two crafting professions, I would argue gently that this isn’t an issue, since this is the character on which you are likely to have things like fishing and cooking at max level, and on which you would spend a lot of time doing world quests. However, if you have alts, which have two crafting professions, which up until WoD you could simply feed materials from other characters, and during WoD you could feed through materials you could gather in your garrison,.this. is where you run into a conundrum. It seems at the moment that the drops are simply too low for a character who has only crafting professions to have sufficient to be able to craft anything of value, in any decent quantity. Definitely a problem if you are a huge fan of crafting and playing the Auction House. It’s also a huge problem for people who have spent either HOURS or TONS OF GOLD to collect rare recipes, some of which are no longer availableAs The Gold Queen points out, it’s even worse if you consider that will have the ability to transmute and produce the (on daily cooldown), but if your alchemist has herbalism, you are going to have a LOT of the reagent and have nothing to do with itif it’s soulbound, and you can’t craft with itit’s basically vendor fodder.
Double gatherers will suffer the same problem. For me personally, it’s a massive stroke of luck. For once, RNG was with me!I server transferred shortly before 6.0 dropped (the pre-patch for Warlords of Draenor), and I brought with me to my new realm a handful of alts which covered all my profession needs. I did this by juggling around the professions they all had. Although I will definitely swop out 3 professions, it’s not as bad as I originally thought.By a massive stroke of luck, I have two alchemists, both of whom have a crafting profession as their second profession. Take a look at this table below: Changes to my Professions in Legion. NoneWhen I heard that the was going to be BoP, my first instinct was to make sure that for my professions in Legion, everyone with double crafting, dropped one, in favour of a gathering profession that matched, and had it not been for the quick thinking of, I would have certainly facepalmed later!Thankfully, my current scribe, has a reagent bank, and guild bank full of mats that my druid can use to level, and I’m also kind of grateful that doesn’t have a million rare recipes that I’d be sorry to lose.
It’s an easy decision to swop out.I’m also grateful that my mage, who will be picking up, is a magethis meansteleporting to which ever continent I need to continue leveling. Easy! The only really grindy one, will be my hunter-alt, who is my engineer, because you can’t really GOLD your way through, you just have to get out there and do it. I am, however, thankful that I can do a little each day, right there in my garrison. So, what are your plans for professions in Legion looking like? Not long to go now.
What Are The Best Professions in WoW BfA?Because Blizzard’s formerly cash-only World of Warcraft services can now be purchased with in-game currency, many players are scrambling for the easiest ways to earn gold in World of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth. While you’ve missed out on the initial wave of new herbs and ore flooding into the market, and while prices continue to plummet from over-saturation, there are still many other professions flying under the radar, and they can make you some serious gold.Mining and Herbalism are perfectly valid choices for any player, and they make natural companions to the Blacksmithing and Alchemy professions respectively, but for the purposes of this guide, we will be focusing on five different professions that don’t fit the definition of Gathering profession.
